    Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Midlevel Tester to join our Health Research Inc Services Team located in Albany, NY.


    Key Responsibilities:
    The Mid-level Tester will assist in daily review and testing of the Countermeasure Data Management System. The Midlevel Tester will identify discrepancies and work with DOH staff to resolve issues.

    The Mid-level Tester will develop test plans, scenarios, and test cases which will exercise the business, functional, and technical requirements of the system; develop test data for use in executing the QA phase of the software development lifecycle; identify and log technical and functional software defects; keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance as stipulated by software testing authorities.

    Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following:

    Develop and maintain user and technical documentation
    Test implemented technologies and record results using standard testing strategies including artifacts such as test strategy, test scenarios, traceability matrix, functional test plans, defect management and user acceptance test plan with entry and exit criteria
    Review release notes with each build for accuracy and completeness.



    Qualifications:

    36-60 Months: Candidate is able to work without assistance.
    Mandatory

    Qualifications:

    48 months experience working as a lead or senior information technology tester
    48 months testing functional, technical, and performance testing
    48 months developing and performing quality testing, with the ability to identify data quality issues at the business level and support the creation of data quality rules
    36 months experience performing defect management
    36 months experience with creating and executing test plans, scenarios, and test cases
    12 months experience creating automated testing scripts


    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions.

    This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location.

    At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

    A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $25.00 to $29.00.
