    DIRECTOR OF PEOPLE AND CULTURE

    CRM Rental Management, Inc. is now hiring an experienced Full-Time Director of People and Culture at our Corporate Office in the Rome, NY – This ad will be open until July 1st, then closed to review and process applicants.

    Director of People and Culture Job Details & Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement HR programs that effectively communicate and support the strategic vision and an overall positive work experience for team members.
    • Maintain an effective level of business literacy including company goals, mission, financial position, strategy, competition, technology, and culture.
    • The Director or People and Culture will collaborate with the executive leadership team and HR team to make culture, employee well-being and engagement a strong component of the company's overall business strategy.
    • Partners with the CEO and the entire executive leadership team on regular organizational design planning; proactively identifies and address current/future talent pipeline needs in support of business targets.
    • Drive key HR priority initiatives including but not limited to talent acquisition, onboarding, continual performance management practices, compensation and total rewards philosophy, organizational design/effectiveness, training and development, employee engagement, recognition programs, and diversity, equity, and inclusive initiatives.
    • Review and revise existing compensation and benefit plans with a focus on rewarding and retaining high-performing talent. Create employee recognition and rewards which build employee loyalty and ensure high retention.
    • Accountable to build and execute pragmatic policies that protect CRM/Liberty and while ensuring the values are reflected in people-oriented decisions.
    • Ensures the business benefits from the services of external stakeholders by working with external vendors, such as payroll providers and benefit providers, to ensure that services are delivered on time.
    • Manages the whole HR service delivery value chain by ensuring that all areas of HR create value for the business: including recruitment, training, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
    • Design and execute recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract, hire and retain high quality and diverse talent.
    • Establish an employee goal setting, evaluation, and feedback process, learning and development opportunities and a sustainable succession planning framework which increase career path and internal promotion opportunities.
    • Creates and manages annual HR budget for all human capital programs, systems and tools based on internal stakeholder inputs and external best practice research.
    • Implement and manage compliance efforts with all the employment laws and regulations that govern the private companies relating to all aspects of the employee life cycle.
    • Identifies industry trends and employment legislation that could impact the organization objectives.
    • Recommends improvements in how HR can add more value to the business by monitoring trends in HR best practices and recommending changes or improvements when necessary.
    • Coach, develop and lead the HR team in creating an inviting and cohesive employee experience.
    • Act as an employee champion and change agent by anticipating HR-related needs and delivering value added services for the benefit of the employees and assigned client group.
    • Partner with management team and client groups to address day-to-day HR operational issues such as employee relations, compensation reviews, escalated benefits issues, performance management and training:
    • Guide managers and associates in resolving employee relations issues by providing effective conflict resolution and coaching.
    • Provides oversight of any claims and legal interface.
    • Ability to evaluate all aspects of the human resources systems and make recommendations and implement strategic changes.

    Director of People and Culture Qualifications:

    • 6-8 years of leadership experience in HR or related fields.
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, social sciences, or other relevant field of study is required. Master's degree preferred.
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
    • Specialist experience in HR systems, vendor management, compensation, benefits, leave management.
    • Demonstrated success as a trusted HR Business Partner supporting senior leadership and executives is required.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that drive organizational success is required.
    • Experience utilizing HR data to develop HR key performance indicators to drive decision making and planning is required.
    • Experience working on cross-functional topics that span HR, Legal and Finance, collaborating and ensuring input across relevant stakeholders is required.
    • Excellent communications skills - written, verbal and interpersonal - and an ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences globally is required.
    • Experience maximizing value of HRIS systems is required.
    • Ability to travel to site locations periodically
