Position Title Local Service Manager Location Logan **The Opportunity**
We are currently seeking to appoint a Local Service Manager to work as a part of our UnitingCare Qld Intensive Family Support Service (IFSS) Team based in the Logan area on a full time basis.
The purpose of this position is to manage and develop services, provide practice leadership to employees in the region, facilitate the development
of quality practice and ensure effective co-ordination of service delivery to vulnerable children, young people, individuals and families.
This role is required to work cooperatively across UCQ programs to derive maximum benefit for people accessing services.
Leadership of Child and Family Services' is evidence-based, guided by the principles of Child and Family's practice frameworks which may include for
example CARE (Children and Residential Experiences), TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) and TC (Transforming Care).
**What you'll need**
**Qualifications and Experience Essential**
Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology or Social Science) as required by relevant service contracts
Lesser formal qualifications with acquisition of considerable skills and extensive and diverse relevant experience to an equivalent standard.
Significant experience in providing services to children and families.
Demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve service performance outcomes together with an ability to provide quality supervision and training.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Current drivers licence.
