- Graduate of an accredited medical program
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as hospitalist and leadership role in group practice
- Fundamental knowledge related to hospital-based physician practice is required
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Able to perform daily tasks necessary for management of hospitalized patients
- Normal patient care environment with possible exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature.
- Exposure to adverse working conditions due to performance of patient care activities, and exposure to communicable diseases.
- GBMC Medical Staff Privileges
- Standard precaution policy and procedures are applicable to this job
- Employee has knowledge and understanding of patient safety as it relates to the job duties
- Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and applies the knowledge to meet age-specific needs
