Position Description
Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in EDUCATION who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.
Required Experience
K-12 teaching experience is required.
Required Education
To qualify to teach EDUCATION, applicants must have:
A minimum of a master's degree in Education, and must be certified (or eligible for certification) to teach in the state of Georgia.
A Ph.D. or Ed.D is preferred.
Graduate coursework should focus on K-12 education and curriculum, as opposed to adult education, educational pyschology, counseling education, higher education, or educational leadership or administration.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
College teaching experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations, etc
Must be certified (or eligible for certification) to teach in the state of Georgia.
Pre-Employment Requirements
A Criminal History Check is Required.
Work Hours
Classes at Perimeter College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.
Salary
$2,100.00 for each 3 Semester Credit Hour course taught
