    Description

    Nuveen Investment's Leveraged Finance team is seeking to hire an analyst to evaluate the full capital structure of convertible bond issuers, the majority of whom are in the technology and healthcare sectors.

    The platform applies a collaborative and team-based approach to fundamental underwriting across the capital structure and risk spectrum. The team invests where relative value dislocations and event driven catalysts exist.

    This includes hedge funds, separately managed accounts, comingled strategies and sub-advisory mandates for clients, including institutional investors.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Evaluate convertible bond investments, both new issues and secondary opportunities.
    • Making investment recommendations based on credit quality and equity valuation.
    • Monitoring investments and managing risk exposures.
    • Engaging with management teams to discuss business conditions and potential catalysts.
    • Analyzing economic, industry, and company data and market trends.
    • Contributing to research processes that enable transparent oversight of the coverage universe.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

    Experience

    • 3+ years of experience required; 5+ years preferred.
