    AppleTree Staffing is looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join the team in southern Johnson County.

    As a Press Brake Operator, you will have a key role in our manufacturing process. Your main tasks will involve operating press brake machines to bend, punch, and shape metal sheets according to precise specifications. This position demands keen attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.

    Our client is a leading global company in precision manufacturing and automotive solutions, with over three decades of industry experience. They are recognized for providing top-notch engineering, manufacturing, and assembly services worldwide.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set up and operate press brake machines based on job orders and engineering drawings.
    • Analyze blueprints, work orders, and drawings to determine machine settings and requirements.
    • Adjust machine settings for accurate bending and forming of metal sheets.
    • Monitor machine operations to identify deviations or defects in finished products.
    • Inspect finished parts for quality and precision, making necessary adjustments.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and conduct regular equipment maintenance.
    • Follow safety procedures and ensure a secure working environment.

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints effectively.
    • Understanding of metal fabrication processes and equipment.
    • Accuracy in using measuring tools and gauges.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
    • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
    • Physical strength for handling heavy materials.
    • Great teamwork and communication abilities.
