Position Summary:

As the Director of Project Management for the Bid/Contract Department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our projects, from Submittals, through procurement and installation to completion.

This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with proven experience in project management, a deep understanding of the foodservice and construction industries, and the ability to lead a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Bid/Contract Department's project management team.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all foodservice equipment projects in adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Lead and inspire a team of project managers (Inside and Field), and support staff.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.

Client Interaction:
Collaborate with clients, architects, general contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
Ensure effective communication channels are established and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring profitable project delivery.
Optimize resource allocation and utilization for maximum efficiency.

Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all foodservice equipment installations meet industry standards and client expectations.
Continuously assess and improve project management processes and procedures.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
Implement effective risk management practices to minimize disruptions and delays.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in project management preferred, Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the foodservice equipment or construction industry.

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of foodservice equipment, industry trends, and relevant regulations.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
