    Overview:

    Reports to: Consumer Lending Funding Supervisor II

    Functions Supervised: None

    Primary Functions: Support indirect lending, review indirect contracts for compliance and fund compliant contracts.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Comply with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to consumer lending processes and related credit union activities
    2. Create, validate, and accurately fund retail installment sales contracts in the loan origination system. Fund enough loans, while maintaining quality, to ensure department objectives are met.
    3. Understand and maintain knowledge of all dealer program summaries.
    4. Review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy, for one state. Enough loans must be reviewed, while maintaining quality, to ensure department objectives are met.
    5. Complete daily balancing functions and / or work all queues, as assigned.
    6. Effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with dealers and others within the credit union regarding loan documentation or the deficiency thereof.
    7. Provide support and assistance to the Funding Support Specialist, as directed.
    8. Complete quality review or audit processes, or satisfaction of designated stipulations, as assigned.
    9. Perform other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:

    Education: High School graduate or equivalent

    Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable

    Experience/Skills: One-year high volume data entry or clerical experience with customer contact, in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Some knowledge of consumer lending preferred. Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and possess excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be proficient in 10-key and type 45 wpm. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

    Tenure: Consumer Lending Funding Specialist II or III, Category 13 or 12, requires meeting proven acceptable performance standards as established by management. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.

    Compensation:

    Salary Pay Range:

    • Consumer Lending Funding Specialist I (Category 14): $41,484 - $60,567 annually
    • Consumer Lending Funding Specialist II (Category 13): $44,803 - $66,309 annually
    • Consumer Lending Funding Specialist III (Category 12): $48,387 - $73,549 anually
    • Senior Consumer Lending Funding Specialist (Category 11): $52,258 - $81,523 annually

    Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.

    In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
