    Job Title: Associate Attorney
    Location: Phoenix, Arizona (with hybrid flexibility after training)
    Position Type: Full-time & Direct hire
    Compensation: $65,000-$150,000 Depending on experience

    Overview: Our client, a leading industry player with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated Associate
    Attorney to join their team. With 40+ attorneys and an abundance of support staff across 9 offices in multiple states, they take pride in representing some of the nation's largest financial institutions. The Associate Attorney will have the
    opportunity to gain valuable courtroom experience, appearing regularly in court on behalf of the firm. This position entails reviewing new claims, managing contested litigation, and navigating court procedures, internal controls, and client and firm policies.     Responsibilities:

    • Appear in court for the firm a minimum of 3 days per week.
    • Review new claims to ensure compliance with legal standards.
    • Review and approve pleadings, including complaints and motions, for filing with the courts.
    • Draft various motions and responses to contested matters as needed.
    • Argue motions and conduct trials and arbitrations.
    • Manage communication with opposing counsel via phone and in writing.
    • Prepare and respond to discovery requests and oversee counterclaims.
    • Ability to work remotely when necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the Arizona Bar.
    • Strong writing and analytical skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Desire for excellence, a competitive drive, and a commitment to client service.
    • Empathy and a collaborative mindset towards fellow team members.
    • Debt collections experience preferred, but related fields such as foreclosures, collections, or bankruptcy will be
    • preferred.
    • 0-2 years of experience preferred, but candidates with 1-5+ years who demonstrate solid potential will also be
    • considered.
