    Job title: Youth Development Specialist

    Description

    We are seeking a caring and supportive individual to provide guidance and supervision to students living in our residential homes.

    Caregiver Role

    • This is a full-time caregiver position that requires couples to reside on-campus with the students.

    As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of approximately 813 students who call our home their own. You will be responsible for providing daily care and support to these young individuals, creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters trust, respect, and understanding.

    1. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Routine household chores such as laundry cooking cleaning etc
    • Transporting students between activities events or appointments when necessary
    • Providing first aid medical care or basic emergency response services if needed
    • Supporting educational goals by helping with homework study skills reading writing math problem-solving strategies creation planning budgets assigning due dates organization time management procrastination motivation technology use managing stress learning multiple languages thinking critically solving problems creatively collaborating effectively communication empathy confidence resilience adaptability persistence responsibility accountability self-regulation moderation flexibilitycloselist
