    Description
    Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) - Full-time positions


    This CRNA will work in a care team model with Anesthesiologists to cover cases in the main operating room, endoscopy suite and interventional radiology.

    Mount Sinai Brooklyn is the only Mount Sinai Health System hospital in Brooklyn. It is a community hospital that performs approximately 6000 anesthetics a year to a very diverse population.

    Responsibilities


    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • The cases performed include the need to provide general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, MAC anesthesia, blocks for the purposes of postoperative pain reduction, and when indicated, arterial and central vein catheterization.
    This site does not do obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiac or major trauma.

    The main requisite traits are a high degree of competence, teamwork, diligence, and empathy.

    Qualifications


    Requirements:

    • NYS RN license and registration required
    • BSN and Master's degree
    • CRNA certificate required
    • BLS and ACLS certification
    Non-Bargaining Unit, ABW - Anesthesiology - BKL, Mount Sinai Brooklyn

    Compensation


    The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

    The salary range for the role is $ $225000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need.

    The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
