Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our skilled nursing facility's nursing team at Rockdale Healthcare Center in Conyers, GA. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility's nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the nursing team
- Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and protocols
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards
- Lead and manage the nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and professional development
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services
- Develop and manage budgets, including staffing, supplies, and equipment
- Conduct quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Foster a culture of compassion, respect, and integrity within the nursing department
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (n/a)
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years)
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Current RN license in the state of Georgia
- Director of nursing
