Job summary
The Clinical Manager provides oversight of the clinical activity within the practice and handles the training of current and new technicians on exam skills, diagnostic equipment, and new clinical procedures and policies.Responsibilities
- Develop a scalable training strategy to promote skill and service excellence for ophthalmic technicians
- Implement the full training cycle: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation using educational principles and training methods or activities such as tech-based learning

, case studies Ensuring all training adheres to JCAHPO standards. - Aid with patient flow diagnostic testing technician exam components as needed Work with providers to develop a manual of protocols for each provider keep manuals updated as new providers join the organization or needs to be updated Responsible for onboarding of new clinical hires conducts new hire 90 day annual performance reviews for clinical staff Maintains staff training records audit training records to ensure all evidence of trainin certifications licenses credentials are current Build a team of trainers other support staff to support trainini initiatives Adhere established timeframes employee trainini onboardii procedures partnership Human Resources leadership
