Job Description Summary
This role oversees performs technical mechanical work that ensures inside external buildings ground amenities common areas of community meet companys standards for cleanliness appearance safety overall functionalityResponsibilities
- Assists completes work orders generated from resident requests for service routine upkeep on community by diagnosing source cause defect problem making repairs accordance established policies procedures safety standards code requirements
- Oversees completes make ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes leasing new move ins by completing pre move out inspection creating punch list maintenance work needed scheduling vendors contractors as needed obtaining needed supplies materials completing all maintenance tasks inspecting completed work
- Maintains adequate inventory spare parts maintenance materials works Community Manager ordering supplies tools as needed stay within budgetary guidelines
- Cross trains staff members assigned duties provide backup coverage when necessary
- Schedules communicates with third party vendors contractors perform repair replacement services required at community
- Demonstrates customer service skills treating residents others respect answering questions team residents responding sensitively complaints about maintenance services assigned work orders efficiency urgency
