- SFGATE Social Video Producer
- Under the direction of SFGATE's senior editor of photography and design, the Social Video Producer will create compelling content across all platforms, focusing on digital video content for platforms including TikTok, YouTube and Instagram Reels.
- In this dynamic role, the Social Video Producer will be comfortable in front of a camera, be a good storyteller, communicate across multiple groups and work under tight deadlines to deliver produced video in a variety of formats and covering a range of topics — from top stories of the day to spotlights on fascinating long reads.
- Produce and star in franchise-able videos for SFGATE's social video platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, Twitter, YouTube) and native site that lean into both the news cycle when there is one and good long-form storytelling when there isn't
- Edit video content in real-time using Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects or similar tools and be comfortable editing a variety of social formats: short form, long-form, livestreams and more
- Experience editing vertical and horizontal video on Adobe Premiere
- Strong in-platform (TikTok, SnapChat, Reels etc) editing skills and out-of-platform (Premiere) editing skills are a must
- Excellent writing skills and on camera delivery
