    Location: Saint Louis, MO

    Client Industry: Water Utility

    Duration: 6-Month Contract

    Hybrid Schedule: 2/3; M-F, 8-5

    SUMMARY

    • Support the Accounts Receivable Department and Billing applications as an analyst.
    • Gather requirements for cloud customer information system (CIS) billing system customization.
    • Provide operational support and delivery of new business demand, establishing priorities and alignment to business strategic objectives.
    • Ensure delivery approaches and technology solutions result in business value and benefits realization.
    • Act as a point of escalation for stakeholders to build a strong IT-Business relationship.
    • Promote insight into system capability to support key decisions.
    • Improve processes with process improvement and/or reengineering.
    • Elicit requirements using techniques per plan.
    • Establish scope and objectives for requirements.
    • Work with business partners to create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.
    • Analyze business processes using modeling, traceability, and quality management techniques per methodology.
    • Manage requirements and communication by applying best practices for effective communication and problem-solving.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Previous experience as a Business Analyst supporting billing processes or software applications is required.
    2. In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting terminology is essential.
    3. Experience in the utility industry is highly desirable.
    4. Above average Excel skills are preferred.
    5. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
