About the Role
The Company is seeking a System Vice President for Construction and Real Estate Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, design, construction, and management of the real estate portfolio to ensure alignment with the company's clinical, operational, and financial goals. This role involves strategic real estate and facilities planning, construction oversight, and real estate portfolio management. The VP will also be tasked with ensuring regulatory compliance, leading a multidisciplinary team, and building internal and external partnerships. A relentless focus on safety, both for colleagues and patients, is a key aspect of the role.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in healthcare construction and/or real estate, with a proven track record in managing large-scale, complex projects. Strong knowledge of healthcare-specific building codes, regulatory standards, and patient safety guidelines is essential. The role requires the ability to lead financial and operational performance, engage with stakeholders, and drive organizational and cultural change. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred, and relevant certifications in project management, healthcare facility management, or real estate. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are also necessary.
