    Job Summary

    The Sustainable Global Business Initiative (
    SGBI) at the University of Texas at Dallas aims to promote economic advancement and poverty alleviation in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and in developing countries.

    This initiative also provides scholarships for students and supports faculty conducting international sustainable poverty alleviation projects, with a particular focus on Africa.


    The Program Manager position is dedicated to supporting the mission of the Sustainable Global Business Initiative (
    SGBI) in the Jindal School of Management.

    Minimum Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree; Three to five years experience in a field relevant to the program; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred Education and Experience
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    The core responsibilities of the Program Manager will be as follows:
    Manages the two accounts of Ann and Jack Graves Foundation on sustainability

    International study scholarship-Africa destination
    Endowment on African initiatives such as conferences, entrepreneurial initiatives for empowering the poor

    Organize activities for the Sustainability Conference in Africa (2025)
    Collaborate with faculty, students, and industry partners to design local and international sustainability projects (Africa, Dallas)
    Coordinate the organization of the

    Annual Global Sustainability Experience – Competition
    Recruit sponsors for sustainability conferences and projects
    Promote


    SGBI
    locally and internationally
    Work with


    SSB
    (student organization to support) SGBI's mission and activities
    Reconcile financial statements for sustainability activities
    Other duties as assigned.

    Remote Work Notice
    A hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly).


    Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice.


    Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required upon employment, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required.
