Summary

This Pharmacist will work onsite at one of our cannabis Pharmacies, consulting with and assisting patients through product selection, as well as confirming accuracy of all orders and purchases to ensure compliance of state regulations. We are looking for full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Correct labeling and dispensing of products
• Dispense products accurately and efficiently to patients in the retail setting
• Review orders for appropriateness and provide drug information to customers and healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Maintain accurate and complete patient profiles
• Provide patient counseling as needed
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice
• No insurance processing
• No on call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana
• Strong knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and documentation
