    Summary

    Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information.

    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Director of the Air Force's History and Museums Program as well as exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities.

    Duties

  • Serves as the Director of the Air Force History and Museums Program, organizing, and overseeing the activities of the Air Force History and Museums Program.
  • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
  • Represents Air Force History and Museums Program in interagency, academic, and public forums with full authority to accomplish critical research and analysis efforts for the Air Staff and Secretariat as well as internal studies and evaluations.
  • Policy Development and Advice. Develops policy for the Air Force field history and museum program.
  • Serves as the Air Force History and Museums Program Career Field Manager (CFM) and Functional Manager IAW the guidelines set forth in AFI
