    Description
    We are currently seeking a detail oriented Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys developing procedures and processes.

    You will be part of a fast moving team executing vital tasks in support of the development, testing, and manufacturing of the KHA family of Ultra Long Endurance aircrafts.

    This individual should also be comfortable traveling and supporting flight operations when necessary.


    Responsibilities:
    Create and maintain manufacturing procedures and work instructions to enable efficient and repeatable manufacturing

    Develop, document, and create manufacturing QC tests and equipment (jigs, fixtures, test boxes)

    Work with cross-functional teams to improve system design and manufacturability

    Hands on R&D aircraft building and process optimization

    Support in-field flight operations

    Requirements:

    3+ years of experience working with manufacturing documentation and process development

    2+ year of experience developing manufacturing aids (jigs, fixture, test boxes)

    Comfortable being hands on

    Ability to take ownership and drive projects/tasks to completion

    Local to the Bay Area, commuting to Emeryville office required (CA)

    US citizen with the ability to obtain secret security clearance


    Plus:
    Ardupilot experience

    FAA Part 107 certified

    Model Airplane building/flying experience

    US citizen with the ability to obtain secret security clearance

    Veteran
