Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring on-time shipments of finished goods to OEM and ARG customers.
Responsibilities
- Loading shipments planning layouts shipping priorities Ensure compliance with shipping specifications from customer including barcoding format ship times Advanced Shipping Notices ASN etc. Ensure accuracy of shipping records Supervision team functions assigning tasks fork lift operators releasing requirements in Plex preparation shipping labels Bill Lading documents Provide truck loading layout instructions Stage shipments cover first three hours following shift Train all new existing shipping employees essential job functions including PLEX functions Ensure carrier compliance with company policies procedures product delivery Resolve problems concerning transportation carriers logistics system or customer concerns Coordinate expedite situations with customer carrier production quality Approve time records requests time off for shipping employees Resolve internal employee issues concerns complaints Serve back up receiving supervisor Responsible health safety employees Participate continuous improvement practices Make sure docks working properly trucks locked into dock Ensure employees equipment tools properly perform including PPE fork lifts propane tanks Scan all product staging lanes Perform 6S housekeeping duties maintain high standard facility cleanliness Fulfill assignments tasks given Manager Other duties assigned Nothing position description restricts management right assign reassign duties responsibilities this job any time
