Job summary
The Service Advisor advises Sales Managers about necessary service for stock vehicles and helps identify mechanical problems.
- Advises Sales Managers about necessary service for stock vehicles.
- Provides explanation of recommended work to be performed and the repair order estimates to the Sales Department.
Explains the work performed and the repair order charges to the Sales Department.
Composes Repair orders for used vehicle inspection certification and reconditioning.Coordinates with vendors for sublet work to be performed
Assist Service Advisor's with duties when the service drive is full and all advisors are busy or absent. < br>Schedules service appointments sales due bill appointments Obtains customer vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.Coodinates client transportation needs Loan car rideshare service valet etc.Greets customers in a timely friendly manner obtains vehicle information.Test drives vehicle as needed referrring back technician.Refers servicve history inspects vechile recommends additional needed serviced Adviuses customer on care their cars value maintaining their vehilce accordance manufacturs specifications Provids complete accurate written cost estimate labor parts customers parties involvedEstablishes promised time checks Service Manager Foreman parts dept necesaryNotifies managers foremen incoming wor.Kects progress throughout dayContacts custoemrs Sale Mangers any changes estimate promised time explains cost detail gets proper authorization before any addional repaits perforedReviews repair orders ensure that worl completed additional authorizaton notedCloses repaire ordere appropraitlyEnsures vehecles parked assinged areasMakes sure vehicels locked keys marked put away correctlyMaintins high customeer satifaaction standardHandles telephone inquiries regarding appointments woork processWorks liaison between estmate body woirkContinues training education role brand specific certificatin requirmentsMaintaings professional appearanceKeeps area clean.Job description
