Be a part of a non-profit law firm, with 110+ employees in sevenoffices across North Florida, that seeks legal justice while understanding thevalue of work-life balance. Work independently and as part of a team to supportthe organization and staff seeking justice and legal solutions for clients.This position is located in our Tallahassee office.
The Director of Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operationsof the law firm with seven offices across 16 counties. The primary duties willinclude working in the areas of building operations, staff office environments,and program technology needs. This includes the implementation of technologyadvancements to better service clients and communities, coordinating withvendors on projects including building renovations, and managing a smallvehicle fleet with mobile office units. The Director of Operations oversees thework of our outsourced IT vendor, supervises additional staff members in the Operationsdepartment, and reports directly to the Executive Director.
Applicants should have a minimum of five years of administrativeexperience implementing programs, supervising employees, participating inbudget preparation/oversight, supporting physical plant operations, and/or coordinatingtechnology. Candidates must have strong organizational and communicationskills, as well as a high level of comfort with technology, project management,and working with diverse individuals. Ideal candidates will have experienceworking with RFPs, communicating with vendors, and reviewing/negotiatingcontracts, plus a history of community engagement and/or volunteering.
Salary offers depend on years of experience. Starting salary is $65,000.The comprehensive fringe benefits package includes:
