The Field Technicians will be responsible for conducting SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) fieldwork.

They will ensure the accuracy of fieldwork based on Atlas SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), be able to operate (collect data if necessary) and perform basic maintenance of the various designating types of equipment and field vehicles, make proper field notes and sketches, adhere to all applicable safety procedures and other duties as necessary to complete complex SUE projects.

Job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret plans: utility records, as-builts and survey drawings.
• Exercise professional communication both verbally and written to coordinate with clients and government entities.
• Operate Atlas standard SUE types of equipment: GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar), EM61 metal detector, M-Scope pipe and cable locator, and Line Tracer in delineating existing utilities.
• Detail-oriented and document all procedures and results.
• Meet specified schedules and budgets.
