    Position Overview

    The Surgical Technician is a vital member of the surgical team who supports safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care.

    This role assists the surgeon and nursing staff by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring the availability of instruments, supplies, and medications as needed.

    The Surgical Technician reports directly to a Registered Nurse.

    $24.41 – $37.84

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures
    Maintain sterile technique and aseptic standards throughout cases
    Anticipate surgical team needs and provide appropriate instrumentation and supplies
    Assist with inventory management and distribution/delivery of medications as required
    Support patient safety and adherence to regulatory standards
    Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff to ensure efficient workflow
    Requirements

    Certified Surgical Technician (CST) preferred
    Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (community college, vocational, military, or hospital-based) preferred
    Operating Room Technician with documented on-the-job experience will be considered

    Continuing education encouraged:
    six contact hours or three college credits annually related to the nursing field
