    We have an opportunity for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join the HLS Platform portfolio management team and help facilitate product delivery from research and development through to customer availability.

    Required/Minimum Qualifications


    • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience
    • 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and product launches
    • 4+ years of experience working with Product Marketing, sales, public relations (PR) or equivalent teams on supporting GTM strategies
    Other Requirement


    • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

    • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

    Technical Program Management IC- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year.

    There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Evaluates market conditions and insights as a business owner to determine offer/packaging/value tiering strategy as well as what impact this has on the revenue and business targets through benchmarking to understand product potential. Drives promotion strategy and performance.
    • Is accountable for successful cross-organization execution for a plan (e.g., product roadmap planning), driving the launch through program management. Drives and helps ensure the actual plan is executed. Lands overall strategy and drives alignment to that strategy.
    • Leads cross-functional virtual teams. Collaborates with a variety of key functions across organizations as a trusted advisor with stakeholders. Ensures all voices are heard in collaborative efforts. Effectively partners with multiple teams including various product managers, planning, marketing and sales enablement by asking questions to open other possibilities.
    • Collaborates with Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering to identify product release criteria including plans for customer acquisition, usage, retention, and monetization strategies. May help scale & provide input to Product Marketing teams by helping build marketing and roll-out plans and/or content such as product overviews, blogs, and landing pages for individual features or smaller products that ladder up to marketing plans for an overall product solution area. Creates and drives strategy for taking the multiple feature areas (e.g., product, service) from private preview to public preview and then to general availability from a Go to Market (GTM) and marketing/planning perspective. Contributes to creating product release communication plans (e.g., frequently asked questions [FAQs], scripts and other plans.
    • Evangelizes the feature areas they work on with internal and external stakeholders, partners, analysts, and customers in the industry via presentations & blog posts. Serves as primary subject matter experts (SME) to educate Product Marketing on product features and help develop content.

    Specialty Responsibilities:

    • Develops the appropriate content for the different audiences. Develops project plans with timelines and milestones to implement readiness strategy into business plans. Manages execution of readiness strategy while collaborating with multiple teams to do so. Translates strategy into tactics. Identifies hurdles and develops plans to adjust. Identifies key stakeholders and implements their feedback and input. Provides requirements of business model to help other teams drive it.
    • Serves as the owner of the plan, drives the overall definition plan, manages it as a business owner, and incorporates the business drivers into the plan. Identifies the key measures for planning. Drives understanding of what is required to achieve the plan (e.g., resources, features, content). Provides ownership for demand plans.
