    Description

    Position: Administrative Intern (Houston Office)

    FLSA: Non-Exempt

    Location: 118 Vintage Park Blvd, Houston TX 77070

    Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm

    General Purpose: To support various departments in administrative duties.

    Supervision Received: Works under the direct supervision of the Purchasing Manager.

    Supervision Exercised: None

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform general clerical duties
    • Occasionally compose documents and letters
    • Perform general clerical duties; throughout the permitting, closing, warranty and marketing departments.
    • Assist with warranty documentation and tracking
    • Assist with property records documentation
    • Assist in permitting through multiple municipality
    • Create Structural Warranty Documentation
    • Assist in the Creation of Contract Addendum utilizing template language
    • Attend all staff meetings
    • Maintain confidentiality of office practices
    • Office errands as needed
    • Any other duties assigned


    Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma

    Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

    • Knowledge of general office practices
    • Ability to establish priorities
    • Ability to work in a fast -paced environment
    • Ability to interact with variety of personalities
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to communicate professionally
    • Demonstrate attention to detail

    Work Environment: Occasionally required to sit and use their fingers, to handle or feel. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and to stoop or kneel.
