    Summary/Objective:
    Supervises hourly production staff to manufacture products; organizes and monitors work flow.

    Essential Functions

    • Assist with the onboarding process of new hires
    • Provide communication, training and educational to staff with the help of SCM
    • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and customer requirements

    • Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet deadlines
    • Provide direction and schedules to the manufacturing department

    Supervisory ResponsibilityHourly production employees
    Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, sharpening equipment, shipping and receiving equipment, forklift.
    Physical Demands

    • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    TravelTravel will be less than 10% for the year
    Required Education and Experience
    • Associates Degree in Technology
    • 3-5 years proven production supervision experience.
