    Lucas KY 42156 USA Description Barren River Lake State Resort Park is a water-lovers paradise surrounded by forested, rolling hills.

    The resort is located near Kentucky's famous cave area, which includes Mammoth Cave National Park, thelongest cave system in the world

    The Driftwood Restaurant at Barren River Lake State Resort Park offers a variety and wide range of foods in awarm and cozy setting for the dining room guest as well as groups for meetings and meals. The DriftwoodRestaurant and Highlands Pub has a beautiful view that overlooks the Barren River Lake.

    The setting is idea for a group or a family outing for sharing a sandwich or a full-size gourmet meal.Wonderful atmosphere for a fantastic meal or just discussion and relaxing for a visit. Great for sharing amixed drink and snacks while watching your favorite sports event.

    Position Description:
  • Assist the Park Chef in food preparation for all meals.
  • Assist with ordering, inventories, cooking, and cleaning of kitchen and kitchen areas.
  • Work with the Park Chef in planning menus, buffets and specials
  • Prepare food for the Driftwood Restaurant, Highlands Pub and group banquets
  • Ensure a clean and organized kitchen
  • Deliver the most pleasant experience for our guest
    • This position is eligible for an approved Sign-on bonus of $800 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(6). /label> Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: NONE
    EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: One year of cooking experience in an institutional or large scale commercial setting.
    Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Vocational training in food service will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
    Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE
