Description

Responsible for all aspects of the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes (including tool path) for machining, turning or grinding, tooling/fixture design, creation/management of documentation/support drawings through the application of professionally accepted engineering principles and techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Independently applies accepted engineering principles, completing assigned tasks efficiently under minimal supervision; conferring with other technical personnel on complex matters, specific assignment objectives, points of emphasis, reference and information sources, and possible solutions as needed.

May be required to create 3D models, 2D drawings and cutter path with industry standard CAD/CAM systems.

Interprets customer and company technical drawings for sales and manufacturing departments to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with design specifications; suggests modifications to improve the manufacturing process.
