General SummaryPrepares various schedules and work papers related to the accounting for defined benefit pension plans and drafts the related quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures
Assists in the preparation of TEAM's annual Proxy Statement and documentation of tie out support
Prepares the quarterly Disclosure Review Team presentation materials
Provides financial information for annual insurance renewals
Updates assigned accounting memos on a quarterly basis
Obtains, extracts, and interprets financial information from the OneStream and AX systems
Prepares various government surveys
Assists in the review and/or preparation of certain aspects of TEAM's Form 10-Q/10-K, earnings releases or other external filings, as assigned
Serves as a mentor to the Accountant I and II positions
The Senior Accountant is responsible for various journal entries, accounting processes, account reconciliations, reports, analysis and presentations that primarily relate to judgmental accruals, stock compensation and other technical areas, as assigned.
Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern
Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM's Core Values
Accurately and timely prepares journal entries, analysis and account reconciliations associated with legal fee accruals, consulting accruals, contingent liabilities/general liability, group medical and workers compensation reserves, vacation accruals, severance, incentive compensation and others as assigned
Prepares financial analysis in response to questions from management regarding the above items
Monitors the status of certain legal and claims-related matters and ensure proper accruals recorded
Coordinates with various departments (Legal, Payroll, HR, Accounts Payable, Corporate Accounting, etc.) to obtain and interpret information timely and continuously improve the efficiency of processes
Reviews activity in general ledger accounts for accurate coding and accounting treatment
Assists in coordinating the PBC requests from the external auditors
Prepares written variance explanations for changes in financial statement line items and general ledger accounts
Assists in coordinating the completion of lead schedules, roll-forwards, eliminations and other activities related to the preparation of TEAM's consolidated financial statements, as assigned.
Assists in the accounting and administration of TEAM's equity incentive plan, which may include preparing journal entries for compensation cost and stock issuance preparing quarterly and annual disclosers in the 10-Q/10-K, preparing TEAM's earnings per share calculations and other related activitiesJob Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly preferred
Three (3) to five (5) years' of experience in public accounting and/or at a publicly traded enterprise
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP theory and practice
Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple competing tasks
Ability to clearly communicate in writing and orally
High attention to detail and level of accuracy
Experience using MS Dynamics/AX and OneStream a plus
Experience using Express Options or other equity compensation software a plus
Work Conditions
Position is located at the corporate office
Work is conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
Additional hours may be required, with or without notice, during the monthly/quarterly close periods or at other times in order to meet internal and external deadlines
