    Marketing Director, North America (US & Canada)

    Position Reports to:
    Senior Director – Global Strategy & NA/EMEA Marketing.
    Dotted line to Senior Vice President, Head of Americas.

    Marketing Director, North America , to help us redefine the conventions of our category.

    In this role, you will be responsible for setting the regional marketing strategy and execute it with your team, so to drive double digit growth in the US and Canada.


    You will be joining a global organization of talented individuals hailing from world-renowned employers in the pharma and consumer goods sectors.

    We operate in the Consumer Healthcare sector, in the Sexual Wellness category, with a mandate to drive strong growth globally, with focus on North America.

    Thus, you will be a key player in the future of the company, in fuelling business growth in our core product categories (condoms, lubricant, sex toys) in the US and Canada, in a resource constrained environment.

    We have an exciting portfolio of global challenger and local heritage brands, robust product line-up and strong innovation pipeline to support growth.


    Responsibilities:
    Regional marketing strategy and roadmap ownership for the SKYN and LifeStyles brands and product portfolio
    Marketing objective setting & tracking

    Brand and segment portfolio strategy & management: adapt global portfolio strategy to region, define product range for each brand, pricing architecture, packaging for local heritage brand.

    Brand Support plan development (media planning, global content adaptation, local content development, etc.) and execution.
    Global innovations' regional adaptation + regional EPD lead –launch plan creations and execution.

    Brand category and consumer research lead & provider of industry and market trend insights to ensure that sales go-to-market efforts and product innovations are supported by solid consumer insights.

    Marketing / content support to the e-com team


    A&P / marketing budget ownership:


    Develop, maintain and deliver annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets and ROI analyses with adjustments as needed to deliver sales and EBITDA targets.


    Team and agency network development:
    Develop and motivate a high-performing marketing team that is engaged and results-oriented.
    Lead the regional agency roster to create effective and efficient brand support plans and executions.


    You will have 3 direct reports (Brand Manager, Product Manager, Assoc Manager, Digital Ecommerce Performance Marketer), and will work closely with the North American Sales and Operations Teams as well as the Global Marketing and Innovation team.


    Requirements:


    You have a strong marketing planning & execution track record in CPG businesses (preferably on challenger brands targeting young adult audiences), solid knowledge of consumer trends and of the digital media landscape, and a collaborative mindset.

    Experience in a small, nimble and fast paced environment considered a plus.

    10+ years branded US CPG experience, ideally with blue chip training and experience in a smaller, resource-constrained environment .
    Strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term plans successfully, while delivering short-term wins.
    Proven success with brand building, consumer communication and innovation development.

    Strong digital marketing background, including social media, and uncovering and utilizing consumer insights to inform communications and support the sales go-to-market efforts .

    Strong analytical skills, including ROI analyses and P&L management.
    Ability to build and lead a strong, accountable team.
    Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to the wider organizational strategy.
    Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
    Project management skills.
    Influencing without authority

    The salary range for this role, based in New York is $175,000 to $190,000.
