We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Development / Test Engineer

Pay:
$115,000 - $156,000 DOE


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Performs lead role on the engineering team in planning and execution of projects requiring mechanical system development
Leads test planning and execution activities, data collection and reduction, analysis, and product development on a multi-discipline team to provide total integrated support to multiple clients
Verifies calculations and analysis work of other engineers
Effectively interacts with technical staff for proposal development and project performance
Mentor and resource for more junior engineers.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. or M.S. Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Typically possesses 6+ years aerospace and/or defense experience, including exposure to electromechanical systems
Proven experience in leading product development tests, including qualification test series
Proficient in the use of data acquisition systems and instrumentation
Background and experience with heat transfer, structural analysis, dynamics/ kinematics, advanced high-strength materials, CAD and machine design
Proficient in SolidWorks, and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Must be a U.S. citizen and hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
