    The Payroll Specialist Role

    We are seeking an experienced payroll specialist to serve as our dedicated subject matter expert supporting payroll operations across complex multi-state payrolls for a diverse set of clients including high net worth families athletes entertainers related entities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for clients across multiple states entity types LLCs S Corps household employees foundations operating companies.
    • Coordinate routine payroll functions including onboarding offboarding salary changes bonuses overtime reimbursements pay adjustments registering new states state unemployment insurance tax withholding as clients expand into new jurisdictions monitoring minimum wage changes state labor law updates shifting regulatory requirements ensuring accurate tax setup configuration compliance when employees change residency or work locations overseeing setup maintenance multi-state compliance paid family leave local tax requirements preparing distributing Department Labor-required notices communications managing mandated withholdings child support alimony wage garnishments administering COBRA notices premium tracking terminated employees ensuring all mandatory harassment training other compliance programs completed documented lead annual healthcare open enrollment benefit comparison communication employee submissions prepare employment agreements confidentiality handbooks severance documents coordination with HR legal advisors conduct compensation analyses YOY trends bonus history perform market-rate benchmarking identify evaluate alternative providers service improvement operational efficiency improve documentation workflows processes PCFO MFO teams vendor management operational support reporting client servicing knowledge required federal local regulations experience various platforms level discretion financial information excellent communication proactive mindset manage competing deadlines multiple clients entities highly desired working relationships U.S residents benefits administration 401 k plan management certification CPP CMA CPM strong attention detail accuracy follow-through sound judgment professionalism navigate complex environments position description intended overview responsibilities may not include tasks assigned nature business demands change positions additional duties responsibilities assigned notice physical capabilities work office environment prolonged periods sitting desk computer Corient seeks reasonable accommodations enable individual disabilities essential duties possible ability lift pounds work onsite days week.
