    Position Summary:

    The Global Sourcing Manager will be responsible for strategic management of designated categories including such things as performing RFPs, Supplier Selection, Supplier Negotiation, Analysis, Contract management and Process Improvements. This individual is committed to driving cost savings and efficiencies by fostering strong supplier relationships. Identifies and leads Global Sourcing activities to lower the overall Total Cost of Ownership.

    Develops, drives, controls the implementation of optimal sourcing strategies, and spend as well as risk management strategies for key suppliers to directly influence the bottom line performance. Ensures profitable vendor negotiations through strategic sourcing efforts and supplier negotiations. Negotiates prices for contracts on assigned products with vendors. Provides sales and marketing collateral to Org to help them sell and enable customer sell-through. Keeps an up-to-date product catalog for Sales to share with customers (physical or virtual).Work in conjunction with Product Managers and Field Specialists where necessary. In Collaboration with SIOP, helps define optimal replenishment strategy for SKUs within Scope of the Category. Monitors Fill Rates and Inventory (on hand) to maximize overall Category Performance at lowest possible cost.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Leads strategic sourcing Strategy within PSBP to ensure lowest possible Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within designated Categories.

    Negotiates with suppliers and executes contracts to optimize PSBP's competitive position by connecting with Product Managers.

    Conducts Category and Spend Analysis for respective areas of control.

    Drives category suppliers in Supplier Relationship Management activities to improve supplier performance, evaluation and qualification via the PSBP Scorecard process.

    Acts as market intelligence owner anticipating strategic opportunities and keeping key stakeholders informed.

    Achieves targets for strategic sourcing activities, Total Spend, Fill rates, Inventory on Hand and Benefits/Savings generation.

    Tracks implementation, compliance and benefits against targets of designated categories.

    Supports Master Data (Material Master, Vendor Master, Service Master) activities specific to designated categories to maintain SAP credibility where necessary.

    Manages contracts and databases providing Procurement reports as required for Open Orders, On Time Deliveries, Goods Receipts and Inventory on Hand (DI)

    Determines what to Buy, who to buy it from, and how to negotiate lowest cost of ownership.

    Proactively and consistently, share Vendors and Product insights when new products are introduced or Updates to existing programs.

    Understands the company's vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.

    Partners with sales and marketing for market intelligence that supports pricing and ensures margins, also partners with product teams to ensure new product development and prompt execution.

    REPORTS TO: Sr. Director - Procurement

    Travel:25% (international and domestic)

    Schedule: Work from home Mondays and Friday. On-Site Tuesday through Thursday.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college and seven plus years (7+) of experience or MS/MA/MBA degree with Five Plus years (5+), or Ten Plus years (10+) of relevant experience.

    Product knowledge. Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain process and requirements. Strategic sourcing/supplier negotiation (limited negotiation complexity).

    Preferred Field of Study: Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or Engineering

    REQUIRED SKILLS
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools/technology.
    • SAP proficiency a bonus.
    • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and requirements.
    • Strategic Sourcing expertise and problem solving/analytical skills

    • Ability to drive cross- functional teams, build relationships and command respect
    • Good Written and oral communications skills/ ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and with all functions
    • Strong Negotiation and Negotiations Process skillset and capability
    • Good Category knowledge (markets, usage, TCO, etc.)
    • Sound knowledge of financial concepts, budget management and cost reduction initiatives
    • Strong knowledge of internal controls providing reasonable assurance of effective and efficient operations, including actions to prevent and detect fraud and protect Company resources.
    CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES CPSM (Certified Procurement and Supply Chain Management) or ISM Procurement Certification are preferred.
