    Required Qualifications

    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Georgia Registered Nursing License, and three years related clinical and/or management experience is required.

    OR

    Associates degree from an accredited college or university with six years related clinical and/or management experience: Georgia Registered Nursing License. BLS certification required.

    • This position will require the acquisition of a P-Card and/or handle cash, credit or other sensitive information and will require a satisfactory Consumer Credit check as a condition of employment.
    • The Human Resources Division will request a driver's history report for the identified top candidate(s) for this position. We will initiate this through our Background Check Vendor; this report will come from the Department of Motor Vehicles. The selected candidate must have a valid driver's license.

    Job Summary

    Administrative accountability for leading, managing, developing, supervising, and evaluating all Research Nurses, Study Coordinators, personnel and supportive research staff in the Division of Infectious Diseases. Manages and collaborates relationships with leadership members, physicians and research staff in the conduction of clinical research. Assures professional, clinical, and educational excellence in the provision of quality clinical research. Responsible for the hiring, supervising, training and evaluation of supportive research staff. Collaborates with Infectious Diseases Grants Manager and designees to develop and maintain a balanced budget.

    Shift/Salary

    Shift: Days; Monday - Friday (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)

    Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
