- The Speech Language Pathology Assistant will support Speech and Language Pathologists by assisting in various therapy services to enhance speech and language skills, oral-motor control, and communication using assistive technology devices.
- Additionally, the SLPA will handle reception and administrative duties in outpatient therapy clinic settings.
- This 9-month position will primarily involve working in the school system with some hours at an outpatient pediatric clinic.
- Completion of an Associates Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders with a minimum of 70 hours of clinical experience from an approved program.
- Must be licensed as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant by the State of South Dakota.
- Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; total of 56 hours every 2 weeks.
