    Description

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION

    Responsible for collaborating with internal clients to manage incidents related to enterprise application systems and integration tools. Ensures proper escalation of networking and endpoint operations issues. Supports in advising and coordinating physical security at the site under the guidance of the IT Field Services Director and Regional Manager.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Serves as primary point of contact for site-specific Network and Client Services issues.
    • Interacts with internal clients professionally to resolve issues.
    • Coordinates and executes facility infrastructure maintenance with Regional Manager support.
    • Provides on-site desktop/laptop support and identifies best practices.
    • Assists users of shipping automation software with issue diagnosis and resolution.
    • Collaborates with Network Operations for complex networking solutions.
    • Procures networking and hardware requirements for the site.
    • Manages IT Vendors for Telecom, Hardware, and MSP.
    • Supports high-profile projects within the IT Field Services group.
    • Assists in Azure AD and Active Directory administration.
    • Offers support in Microsoft Exchange, M365 Admin, and Networking Admin.
    • Provides assistance in Network Operations, Cloud Operations, and Endpoint support.
    • Manages software licenses and assists in Crane applications support.
    • Supports Warehouse Operations for technology-related issues.
    • Monitors site system assets and suggests improvements.
    • Ensures site IT / Security coverage for 24/7 operations.
    • Responsible for incident reporting and root cause analysis.
    • Must possess excellent communication skills.
    • Travel requirement is minimal.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Role may involve extended sitting or standing with the use of standard office equipment.
    • Requires the ability to use vision and operate a standard computer.
    • Audio-visual equipment usage is necessary.
    • Job tasks include talking, hearing, and operating computer equipment.
    • Must work from the assigned location.

    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Proficient in E-Mail (Microsoft Outlook).
    • Understanding of corporate networking and systems infrastructure.
    • Experience in network device installation and network cabling.
    • Familiarity with Wireless Access Points and security protocols.
    • Knowledge in IPSEC VPN technology and troubleshooting network issues.
    • Ability to communicate effectively.
    • Experience in a global Windows environment is advantageous.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • 3+ years of related experience in IT infrastructure and/or administration
    • Experience with Fortinet firewalls is beneficial

    CERTIFICATION AND LICENSES

    • Fortinet, AWS, Microsoft certifications are advantageous.

    CompTIA A+ and Network+ or other administrator certifications are beneficial.
