POSITION SUMMARY

Is responsible for all activities related to specimen collection and processing, charting of laboratory reports, the lab front office and professional representation of the laboratory to the end users at large.

Is knowledgeable in laboratory processes and practice, is able to support physisicans, nurses and phlebotomists queries as related to routine and esoteric testing.

Is good at inter and intra-laboratory communication. Knows and performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the non-technical supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:
High School Diploma and Medical Assistant diploma with Phlebotomy certification.

Experience:
Minimum 3 yrs in hospital Lab setting in both Front Office and Phlebotomy with supervisory potential


License:

CERT MED. ASSISTANT
