    Our breast imaging experts specialize in both screening and diagnostic imaging services for our patients, including mammography, 3D mammography (tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound and breast MRI. Our team also performs breast biopsies as part of breast cancer diagnosis.

    Our breast imaging researchers evaluate new technologies to better diagnose and treat breast tissue abnormalities. Some examples of our current research projects include evaluation of pre-operative localization techniques in the breast and axilla and evaluation of artificial intelligence applied to breast imaging triage, characterization and diagnosis.

    Johns Hopkins is currently looking for a PRN Mammography Technologist to join our elite Radiology team. As a Mammo Tech you will perform mammographic procedures of a routine and difficult nature, participate in scheduling procedures for the Breast Imaging Center and train/evaluate other technologist in performing mammographic procedures.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program.
    • ARRT Mammography certified with current registration.
    • Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians required.
    • CPR certification required within three months of employment.
    • 3 to 6 months experience performing mammography Radiology procedures
