Project Engineer - Atlanta, United States - SPLICE
Description
Our client is seeking a Project Engineer. This is an in-office position (not hybrid or remote).JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Simultaneously manage more than twenty projects at various stages in the product development process
Drive on time completion of all the projects with each milestone scheduling
Demonstrate skills and experience with injection molded products
Work with cross functional development teams within the company to ensure smooth communications throughout various projects
Initiate line extension projects, monitor schedule, perform testing, sample distribution and documentations
Engage suppliers and convey the proper tone in supplier communications
Drive the proper balance of delivery, cost, quality, and innovation into our products and at the front end of our supplier discussions
Routinely poll the supply chain for information related to upcoming device launches and associated data
Develop product specifications and quality requirements to drive manufacturing and overall product performance standards
Engage 3rd party test labs to perform industry and custom tests in support of product performance requirements
Respond to and resolve customer support requests regarding quality issues identified by consumers
Explore new technologies related to materials, manufacturing processes, and innovations within the Consumer Electronic industry
Work with Engineering team to implement document control and other miscellaneous tasks
SKILLS
Must possess strong skills in the areas of product specifications, sourcing communications, engineering drawings and manufacturing. (materials, processes)
Advanced skill and experience with Injection molding, Project managements
Advanced knowledge of Solidworks/CAD is a plus
Strong Analytical Skills and experience using Excel, PowerPoint
Fast-paced, proactive personality
Mandarin language skills is a plus, but not required
Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP Systems is a plus, but not required
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical engineering or similar
1-3 years working in Consumer Electronic Products
