- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Provide tailored interventions focused on skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and social-emotional development outlined in each child's behavior intervention plan.
- Provide Direct Support: Assist children individually and in groups to enhance their involvement in classroom activities, encourage positive behavior, and promote social interactions with peers.
- Collect Data: Accurately record data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition utilizing established methods such as ABC recording and discrete trial teaching.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Effectively communicate with teachers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent implementation of behavior support strategies and enhance overall child development.
- Support Classroom Management: Aid in maintaining a positive and organized learning environment through behavior management techniques, routines promotion, and positive reinforcement of behaviors.
- Participate in Training and Professional Development: Engage in continuous training opportunities to improve knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis techniques and evidence-based practices for working with young children.
- Maintain Documentation: Complete necessary documentation including session notes, progress reports, and behavior data sheets promptly and accurately in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Qualifications: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification, High School Diploma or working towards a Bachelor's degree, experience in preschool or early intervention settings, passion for Early Childhood Development, strong communication skills, ability to work well in a team, CPR and First Aid Certification.
