    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Budget Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and budget management activities for a public-sector organization in Florida. This role is fully onsite and requires strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.

    The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with budgets in government or large organizational environments and demonstrate a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and accountability.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Analyze, prepare, and monitor operating and capital budgets
    • Assist in developing financial forecasts and expenditure projections
    • Track spending and identify budget variances
    • Prepare financial reports and budget summaries for management
    • Support budget development, review, and approval processes
    • Ensure compliance with applicable financial policies and regulations
    • Collaborate with internal departments on budget planning
    • Maintain accurate financial documentation and records
    • Provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
    • Minimum 3+ years of experience in budget analysis or financial management
    • Experience working in government or public-sector environments preferred
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently in an onsite environment
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with state or municipal budgeting systems
    • Knowledge of financial compliance standards
    • Prior contract or project-based experience
    Work Environment
    • Fully onsite role in Florida
    • Standard business hours (Monday–Friday)
    • No weekend or overtime requirements
