    SEEKING HVAC/R TECHNICIANS

    SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

    We are seeking an HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of HVAC/R equipment for our industrial and commercial customers. Your primary responsibility will be to perform daily service maintenance, diagnostic reviews, and repairs to ensure our customers' systems are running efficiently and effectively.

    You will work closely with each customer to discuss work performed, review repair quotes for approval, and convey preventative maintenance measures that can increase efficiency and decrease costs.

    Essential Duties

    Within the first 30 days:

    Learns C&L Refrigeration's core values, services, processes, procedures, and safety protocols.

    Completes orientation on safety policies and expectations, scheduling with the Dispatcher, billing for vendors and parts shops, and operating work vans.

    Learns how to navigate Ascente Mobile Pro software for job and customer forms.

    Shadows the Field Supervisor, Safety Manager, and experienced technicians for hands-on training.

    Displays a learning mindset and eagerness to tackle different jobs each day.

    By 30 days, has completed standard service maintenance jobs on up to 1-ton equipment.

    Three months and ongoing:

    Works independently, completing service calls to different job sites and customers.

    Performs thorough diagnostic checks at every job site.

    Maintains OSHA and C&L safety standards while driving and at each job site.

    Provides exceptional customer service and communication by updating customers on findings and outcomes.

    Ensures trucks are stocked with common tools needed for jobs.

    Six to nine months and ongoing:

    Works on 5-15 ton units from start to finish.

    Meticulously documents all job efforts for review and signature.

    Develops strong trusting relationships with customers and performs preventative maintenance measures.

    Twelve months and ongoing:

    Is seen as a knowledgeable and technical problem solver who maintains a strong reputation with customers.

    Is reliable and dependable, displaying a technical mindset while working on 20-40 ton units.

    Displays a team mindset, willing to help fellow technicians and train new hires.

    Requirements

    1+ year experience in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC/R systems and units or equivalent education required.

    Prior experience working with commercial or industrial HVAC/R or electrical mechanics preferred.

    Proven ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve with a strong sense of urgency and initiative required.

    EPA HVAC/R certified a plus.

    Valid driver's license required.

    Ability to pass background check and drug screen required.
