Description

Title: DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Round Rock, TX - hybrid position required onsite 3 days a week

Duration: 9 Months with Possible extension and/or conversion

Pay Rate starts from $75/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

Explore and make recommendations on security products

Follow Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) standards and practices

Work with external Vendors to manage the backlog and roadmap

Leverage AI capabilities to build AI models and Engines

Integrate Security products in DevOps eco system

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix the issues for application teams w.r.t Security product integrations

Work closely with Development teams to identify and address the security related matters

Work closely with Cyber Security Organization to update/implement policies, governance, and standards

Requirements:

Experience with DevOps, Security tools, Code scanning and vulnerability remediation

Experience with System Architecture, Integration and Design activities like Threat Modelling

Strong programming background with mastery skills in at least one programming languages and like Java, .NET, Go or Python (preferred) and databases (MS SQL or Postgres preferred)

Understanding of SDL (Secure Development Lifecycle) controls and leverage LLM/AI/NLP for Threat analysis

Experience with Cloud Native Container platforms like Kubernetes, KOB (Container on Base Metal) and Linux/Windows Server Operating Systems

Desired Requirements:

12+ years of software development experience including 3+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps in a professional role with a bachelors degree
