Commercial Lender - Fairfax, United States - MainStreet Bank

Description

• Compile and analyze data for commercial loan requests with a focus on C&I lending, CRE experience is a plus.
• Negotiates credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment methods and collateral specifications.
• Develops and maintains interest rate structure to be consistent with financial institution policies and procedures, and to be competitive with current market rates.
• Evaluates potential customer loan requests and makes loan recommendations to management.
• Maintain compliance with loan policy, procedures and documentation, including loan package preparation, while properly structuring, underwriting and pricing.
• Provide on-going service to existing clients.
• Establish relationships to expand lending opportunities.
• Participates in community outreach efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
• Minimum seven years related experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of commercial lending policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, sales and negotiation skills.
