This is a Remote position. Candidates must reside in CA.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Program Manager will provide support to the Training, Education, Career Planning and Development team, which supports training and educational goals of the research enterprise, facilitating growth and development while organizing, directing, and managing all programs in accordance to the strategic initiatives set by leadership. The program manager will set direction and lead implementation of several of the team's educational initiatives and programs, including development of a peer support community for early career faculty, development and maintenance of platforms for stakeholders to access available resources, and implementation of other programs and initiatives to strengthen the CHLA research community.


Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: years' program management experience. Managing multiple parallel projects with research and administrative components, including generating verbal and written communications. Working at an academic medical center/research institution strongly preferred. We are looking for someone who enjoys working remote, but also available to come to campus approximately once a week to support on programming in-person. Must be collaborative, enjoy working on projects with others, has initiative, is not afraid of ambiguity, has experience managing multiple programs/projects at the same time, and can prioritize when there are multiple things going on at the same time.


Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor's degree required. Graduate degree preferred.


Pay Scale Information

$76,128.00-$137,030.00

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.

Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
