    Job Details:

    • Work 4x10 day shifts Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
    • 40 hours per week guaranteed
    • On-call rotation required with 30-minute response time (approximately 8 days per month including 1 weekend per month)
    • Every third weekend required (5-6 total weekends in contract)
    • Average daily census of 7-10 patients
    • Floating required to sister facility 2 miles away for 1 week
    • Must have 1 year of experience in interventional radiology
    • First-time travelers accepted

    Required certifications:
    ARRT, WV State License, BLS (Vascular Intervention Certification preferred)


    • Blue surgical scrubs issued by hospital
    • Work in interventional vascular radiology suite performing peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention including acute stroke, and embolization
    • Operate fluoroscopy equipment (Siemens and ultrasound preferred), maintain PACS system
    • Perform accurate monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access site preparation
    • Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias, function as room circulator and scrub tech maintaining sterile field
    • Use vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
    • Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and stock supplies
    • Must live greater than 100 miles from facility miles considered case-by-case)
    • Free parking provided for travelers

    This major teaching hospital serves as a Level IV Trauma Center with 838 total staffed beds and is a member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH).

    The facility specializes in short-term acute care and features a state-of-the-art interventional radiology department with 3 procedure rooms.

    The hospital utilizes Cerner charting system and maintains modern equipment including Siemens fluoroscopy and ultrasound technology to support comprehensive interventional procedures.
